When you try to save the configuration file from a Firebox e-Series device (Core, Peak, or Edge) to a Firebox or XTM Wireless device, you will see the error message: The OS Version on this device does not support the current wireless configuration settings. Before you can save the configuration to this device, you must disable wireless, and change the OS compatibility setting to match the OS version on this device. Then you can enable wireless. However, you cannot change the OS compatibility setting at this time, and this error message will occur even when wireless is not enabled.
To resolve this issue: Select File > Save > To File.Follow the on-screen prompt to save the file on your computer. Make sure to note where the file is saved.Close Policy Manager. If WatchGuard System Manager is connected to your Firebox, use File > Disconnect All to close those connections.Launch Policy Manager.Select Open configuration file and browse to the location of the saved configuration file. Policy Manager will automatically set the OS Compatibility version to 11.4-11.8.x. To change this option, select Setup > OS Compatibility. Select File > Save > To Firebox.Confirm that the destination IP address for the Firebox is correct, and type the Administrator passphrase. Click OK and follow the on-screen prompts to save the configuration to the device.
