Description:
Issue
AP300 devices that run firmware 2.0.0.5 or higher and are deployed wirelessly over-the-air do not broadcast SSIDs on the 5GHz radio.Only SSIDs configured on the 2.4GHz are broadcast.
Workaround/Solution
Over-the-air wireless deployment currently only works for SSIDs on the 2.4GHz radio. AP300 devices deployed wirelessly in client mode do not broadcast SSIDs on the 5GHz radio. The 5GHz radio is used for the extender link for wireless connections between wireless and wired AP300 devices.We recommend you do not assign any SSIDs to the 5GHz radio of an AP300 that is deployed wirelessly.
