Issue

If you deploy a Dimension system on Hyper-V on a computer with Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3 or higher, you might be unable to complete the Dimension Setup Wizard.This occurs because of a known issue with the Intel Xeon line of processors. To learn more, see https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/specification-updates/xeon-e3-1200v3-spec-update.pdfWhen this occurs, the setup will stall at the administrator passphrase step.

Workaround/Solution

This issue does not occur with other processors, or with ESXi deployments.
