Issue
If your Firebox is running Fireware v12.5 or later, Gateway AV blocks web or email unexpectedly if it includes any zero length content, such as web redirects or requests for authentication.When this occurs, you could see a Gateway AntiVirus scan error message, or web or email content will not appear.
Workaround/Solution
To avoid this issue, you must select Allow as the Gateway AntiVirus action for When a scan error occurs.This will also allow other content that Gateway AntiVirus is unable to scan, such as encrypted or password-protected email attachments. For instructions, see Configure Gateway AntiVirus Actions.
