Issue

Facebook social media authentication fails on a Wi-Fi Cloud captive portal page with an error such as: "This URL is blocked. https://mgm-wg11001.watchguard.cloudwifi.com/plugin/facebook/auth has been blocked from Facebook."

Workaround/Solution

As of October 11, 2019, this issue is now resolved with Facebook and WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud domains are no longer blocked.If you still experience issues with the Facebook plug-in, WatchGuard recommends you disable the plug-in and use a different plug-in for splash page authentication. In Analyze, disable the Facebook plug-in, and enable a different authentication plug-in. For more information on how to configure your authentication plug-ins in Analyze, see Configure Portal Social Media Plug-Ins.In Engage, edit the splash page for your captive portal to disable the Facebook plug-in, and enable the new plug-in you configured in Analyze.
