Description:

Issue

You cannot add a Secondary Network with a /32 subnet mask to an external interface. If you try to configure this with Policy Manager or Fireware Web UI, the configuration change fails and the message "not valid secondary address" appears. As of Fireware v11.9.4, the Firebox can support /32 subnet masks on external interfaces. The Firebox does not allow /32 subnet masks on other interfaces.

Workaround/Solution

To resolve this issue, upgrade to Fireware v12.1.
