Description:

Issue

If you create a Master Control Panel folder on a Windows 10 workstation with the Creators Update installed, both Policy Manager and Firebox System Manager will crash if you open a file browser in that application and you open or save a configuration file in Policy Manager. This is sometimes referred to as "god mode" for Windows. To create a Master Control Panel folder, create a normal Windows folder with a name like [Foldername].{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} This issue is the result of Java bug JDK-8179014. For full technical detail, go to https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8179014. To learn more about Creators Update, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/d4efb316-79f0-1aa1-9ef3-dcada78f3fa0/get-the-windows-10-creators-update

Workaround/Solution
