Description:

Issue

If you have previously installed both WatchGuard System Manager v12.1 and v12.1 Update 1, when you upgrade to WSM 12.1.1 or higher, the installation wizard prompts you for a path, with the message: You must enter a full path with drive letter, for example C:\APP or a UNC path in the form: \\server\share If you specify a path, the installation appears to complete, but WatchGuard System Manager will fail to launch.

Workaround/Solution

To resolve this issue: 1. Complete the installation of the latest release of WatchGuard System Manager. When prompted, browse to the current install location, which is typically C:\Program Files (x86)\WatchGuard\wsm11\. 2. Install WatchGuard System Manager again. After this, WatchGuard System Manager will work correctly. After you complete this process subsequent WatchGuard System Manager upgrades will not have this issue.
