Description:

Issue

In some instances, the Firebox DHCP server can fail to respond to DHCP requests. This occurs when the dhcpd process is in a zombie state. To confirm that this is the issue, review the process list for the Firebox. A process status of Z indicates the process is in a zombie state. Web UI In Firebox Web UI, you can review the process list in System Status > Processes. Look below the State heading. The process name appears in the Name column. Workaround/Solution

To restart the dhcpd process, you must reboot the Firebox.
