Description:

Issue

If you upgrade a Gateway Wireless Controller-managed AP that is configured with a static IP address from AP firmward v8.0.x to v8.3.x, your AP device may fail to authenticate with the Firebox after the upgrade.

Workaround/Solution

To resolve this issue, you must reset the AP device. For instructions, see Reset a WatchGuard AP to factory default settingsThis issue is resolved with AP Firmware version 8.5.0-646 and higher.
