If you installed Management Server on or after the 19 January 2018, you will not be able to log in to the server. This occurs because the installation creates a certificate with an expiration date set 20 years in the future, which is now in the year 2038. To learn why this is an issue, see the Wikipedia article, Year 2038 problem. This issue does not impact the upgrade of existing Management Servers.
This issue is resolved with the Management Server installation file included with WatchGuard System Manager v12.1 Update 1. To resolve the issue, you uninstall the Management Server software and reinstall the v12.1 Update software file. If you do not want to upgrade to the latest version of Management Server, uninstall the Management Server, and temporarily change the clock on the host system to an earlier date, such as 12 January 2018. After you do this, you can install the Management Server, and change the date back to the correct date.
