The TDR Host Sensor fails to use the Group Host Sensor settings after the Host Sensor is uninstalled and reinstalled in specific scenarios.TDR Cloud fails to send the Group Host Sensor settings to the Host Sensor after the UUID is cleared and the Host Sensor is reinstalled. When this issue occurs, the Host Sensor sends the global Host Sensor settings instead of the Host Sensor settings configured for the Host Group. This issue can occur after you complete this series of steps on a host: Manually uninstall the Host Sensor.Delete the local.properties file which contains the UUID that uniquely identifies the host.Manually reinstall the Host Sensor on the same host, with the same host name. This issue also happens after you use the /clearSensorUUID Host Sensor command line option to clear the UUID of a Host Sensor, and then reinstall the Host Sensor on the same host with the same host name. The purpose of the command line option to clear the UUID is to facilitate installation of the TDR Host Sensor on an OS image. This command option does not cause a problem for a Host Sensor installed with an OS image because each host has a different name.
To work around this issue: Remove the host from the Host Group.Add the host back to the Host Group. TDR sends the Group Host Sensor settings to the Host Sensor.
