Description:
Issue
If you use BOVPN Virtual Interface with a PPPoE internet connection, the VPN will fail when the PPPoE connection resets. To resolve the VPN failure, you must reboot the Firebox. This issue also occurs if you make a configuration change to the PPPoE interface on the Firebox.
Workaround/Solution
There are two workarounds for this problem. If the PPPoE reset occurs on a regular schedule, such as once a day, configure an automatic reboot for your Firebox to occur just after the reset.Configure the BOVPN without Virtual Interface.
