If you use the WatchGuard System Manager Quick Setup Wizard to set up your Firebox and have WatchGuard Log Server software installed on your computer, the Quick Setup Wizard automatically sets the IP address for logging to the current interface IP address of your computer. It sets the logging Encryption Key to the status passphrase you configured during the Quick Setup Wizard.
If these Log Server settings are incorrect for your network, connect to Fireware Web UI and follow these steps to set the correct Log Server IP address and encryption key for your Log Server or Dimension. Select System > Logging. The Logging page appears with the WatchGuard Log Server tab selected.Select the check box for the Log Server entry added by the Quick Setup Wizard.Click Remove.Click Add. The Add WatchGuard Log Server dialog box appears. In the Log Server Address text box, type the IP address of the primary Log Server. In the Encryption Key text box, type the Log Server encryption key.In the Confirm text box, type the encryption key again.Click Add.Click Save.
