Description:
Issue
When you try to back up WatchGuard Dimension to a Windows SFTP server, the "Test" function does not work so you are unable to save a backup file. When you try to save the backup, you see the message: "Unable to apply remote backup settings. Use the 'Test' button to verify the settings are correct." The issue occurs when Dimension tries to confirm the existence of the remote directory.
Workaround/Solution
Configure a Linux-based SSH FTP server such as OpenSSH. Make sure you do not use chroot as this will also cause the directory test to fail.
