Issue
If you use WatchGuard System Manager v11.8.x or later to manage an XTM 21, 22, or 23 device installed with Fireware XTM v11.6.x, inbound SMTP over TLS will fail. In Traffic Monitor, you may see a message like this: 2015-01-19 13:43:02 cfm apply_filter inWork FAILED error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed Debug
Workaround/Solution
Use WatchGuard System Manager 11.7.4 or Web UI to manage these devices.
