For some Windows users, Mobile VPN with SSL hangs with the message Waiting for Connection. Starting VPN with SSL. The client is not able to log in successfully when this occurs. The log messages include messages that look like this: 2019-10-11T09:28:42.848 Requesting client configuration from 203.0.113.1:443 2019-10-11T09:28:44.101 VERSION file is 5.32, client version is 5.32 2019-10-11T09:28:45.116 OVPN:>INFO:OpenVPN Management Interface Version 1 – type 'help' for more info
For users that experience this specific failure issue, you can change the client diagnostic log level to allow the connection. To change the client diagnostic log level: 1. Right-click the Mobile VPN with SSL system tray icon and select Properties. 2. From the Log Level dropdown menu, select Debug. 3. Click OK.
