When you connect one of the LAN ports on an AP225W, the LAN1/2/3 indicator does not light green.The LAN1/2/3 LED currently only lights green when a VLAN extension is configured on one of the LAN interfaces in Wi-Fi Cloud. You can configure a VLAN extension in the Device Settings of your Wi-Fi configuration. For more information on how to configure a VLAN extension in Discover, see Device Settings. The LAN1/2/3 LED shows the status for any of the LAN ports on the bottom panel of the AP.The LAN1/2/3 LED does not currently provide an indication when locally managed by a Firebox.
This issue is resolved in the AP firmware release version 8.8.2 and higher. In 8.8.2, the LAN1/2/3 LED indicator will light green for any of these conditions in Wi-Fi Cloud: A VLAN extension is enabled and the interface is upA wired extension is enabled and the interface is upLink aggregation is enabled (on supported APs) and the interface is up In 8.8.2, when the AP is locally managed by a Firebox, the LAN1/2/3 LED indicator will light green when: The interface is up (In local mode, only a wireless extension is supported for the secondary LAN ports)
