After you configure a VLAN extension in the device settings for the AP225W, the AP may lose its connection to Wi-Fi Cloud. This issue occurs when the communications VLAN (for example, 0), is set to either the LAN1 or LAN2 interface.
This issue is resolved in AP firmware 8.8.3-12 released June 5 2020.To work around the issue, you must re-configure the communications VLAN to a different LAN interface other than LAN1 or LAN2, and then reset the AP to factory default settings. Open Discover.Select the location where you have applied your AP device settings.Select Configure > WiFi. Select the Device Settings tab. In the VLAN Configuration section, make sure you set the communications VLAN (for example, 0) to either the LAN3 or LAN4 interface. You can still use LAN1 or LAN2 with a different VLAN ID. For example: Save the configuration. When you have completed the configuration, you must reset the AP to factory default settings so that it can connect to Wi-Fi Cloud and get a new configuration. To reset the AP225W: Insert a pin or paperclip into the Reset button hole.Press and hold the reset button for up to 10 seconds until all LEDs go off to indicate that the AP has rebooted.
