Issue
On M590 and M690 devices, the built-in 10G SFP ports and the 10G SFP ports on an interface module cannot join the same link aggregation interface. The built-in eth8 and eth9 SFP ports are fixed to 10000 Mbps, Full Duplex. To join the built-in ports to a link aggregation interface, it must also be manually set to 10000 Mbps, Full Duplex. The A0/A1 interface module ports are fixed to Auto Negotiate. For these ports to join a link aggregation interface, it must also be set to Auto Negotiate. If you try to assign eth8/eth9 to a link aggregation interface set to Auto Negotiate, you see the error: The link speed setting configured for the link aggregation interface is not supported by the physical interface 8. Likewise, if you try to assign A0/A1 to a link aggregation interface set to 10000 Mbps, Full Duplex, you see the error: The link speed setting configured for the link aggregation interface is not supported by the physical interface A0.
Workaround/Solution
Create two separate link aggregation interfaces: Link aggregation interface set to 10000 Mbps, Full Duplex for eth8/eth9Link aggregation interface set to Auto Negotiate for A0/A1 Assign VLANs to both link aggregation interfaces. The VLANs will be present on both link aggregation interfaces simultaneously.
