Issue
If you configure your AuthPoint external identity with a synchronization interval that syncs user accounts every 24 hours at 12:00 AM or 12:00 PM, the synchronization fails. This happens because AuthPoint does not recognize these times as valid. This might cause your Gateway service to fail to start or to exit with the status of 1 shortly after the service starts.To confirm that this issue affects you: On the server where the Gateway is installed, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\WatchGuard\Authpoint\Authpoint LDAP Sync.Open the ldapSync.err.log file and look for this error message: Exception in thread "pool-2-thread-1" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid value for HourOfDay (valid values 0 - 23): 24 '24' in cron expression "19 0 24 ? * *"
Workaround/Solution
This issue was resolved on 30 March 2023. You can now configure external identities with a synchronization interval that syncs user accounts every 24 hours at 12:00 AM or 12:00 PM.
