When you use the Quick Setup Wizard in WSM 12.9.x to set up your Firebox, the Quick Setup Wizard might fail if you have not enabled the IPv6 address format on the network interface of your Microsoft Windows computer.
If the Quick Setup Wizard fails, enable IPv6 on the network interface of your Windows computer.To enable IPv6 on the network interface: 1. In Windows, select Start > Settings. The Windows Settings page opens. 2. Click Network and Internet. The Status page opens 3. In the Advanced Network Settings section, click Change adapter options. The Network Connections dialog box opens. 4. Double-click the interface connection. The Status dialog box opens. 5.Click Properties. The Properties dialog box opens. 6. In the This connection uses the following items list, select the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) check box. 7. Click OK.Note that you do not have to configure IPv6, only enable it.
