Description:

Issue

In WatchGuard Cloud, on the Overview > Inventory > Allocations page, if a Tier-1 Service Provider deallocates AuthPoint users or endpoints that have an allocation type of subscription or mixed, the license is removed from managed Tier-2 Service Provider accounts. The license is not removed from a managed Tier-3 Subscriber account. In this scenario, allocations to Tier-3 accounts will still exist and still be licensed for the product. Because the Tier-3 Subscriber accounts are still licensed, there might be discrepancies in the license usage (subscription and mixed) reported on various dashboards in WatchGuard Cloud.

Workaround/Solution

To fully deallocate an AuthPoint or Endpoint Security license with subscription or mixed allocations from all managed accounts, you must first deallocate the license from the Tier-3 Subscriber accounts. After you do this, you can deallocate the license from the Tier-2 Service Provider account.
