Description:

Issue

WatchGuard Endpoint Security licenses (WatchGuard EPP, EDR, or EPDR) might be replaced unexpectedly with EDR Core licenses when the account has an active Endpoint Security license (WatchGuard EPP, EDR, or EPDR), but a module license is expired (e.g., Patch Management, Full Encryption, Advanced Reporting Tool, or SIEMFeeder).

Workaround/Solution

If WatchGuard EPP, EDR, or EPDR was replaced with EDR Core, review the status of your licenses in WatchGuard Cloud. For Service Provider accounts, in Account Manager, select the affected account. Select Administration > Endpoints > License. For Subscriber accounts, select Administration > License Details. Select the Endpoints tab. Confirm whether there is an expired endpoint security module license. If there is an expired module license, contact WatchGuard customer support.
