Issue

When you first install the AuthPoint mobile app for iOS, the mobile app sometimes starts in a state where it is cannot receive push notifications.To verify if the AuthPoint mobile app for iOS can receive push notifications: Open the AuthPoint mobile app for iOS.Tap the ... menu next to the token and select Show Token Details. If no alphanumeric value appears below Push ID, the AuthPoint mobile app is unable to receive push notifications from the AuthPoint Cloud servers.

Workaround/Solution

Completely close the AuthPoint mobile app.In the iOS notification settings, verify that the AuthPoint mobile app is allowed to receive notifications. For more information, see https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/change-notification-settings-iph7c3d96bab/ios.Reopen the AuthPoint mobile app. After the mobile app reloads, check if the Push ID is now associated with the token. When the Push ID is associated with the token, you should be able to receive push notifications.
