Description:

Issue

You might sometimes want to use a non-standard Login Attribute (such as sAMAccountName) when you configure LDAP authentication. In Fireware Web UI, when you select Authentication > Servers > LDAP, then edit the LDAP server settings, you cannot specify a custom Login Attribute value because you can only select an existing value from the drop-down list.

Workaround/Solution

Use Policy Manager to enter a custom Login Attribute value: Select Setup > Authentication > Authentication Servers.Select the LDAP tab.Type a custom value in the Login Attribute text box.Click OK.
