Description:
Issue
Apple iOS users can enable randomized MAC addresses for privacy to prevent tracking. For more information on how random MAC addresses work and how they impact Wi-Fi in WatchGuard Cloud monitoring and reports, see Wireless client MAC address randomization and reporting in Wi-Fi in WatchGuard Cloud.In Apple iOS 15 or higher, random MAC address privacy also prevents Wi-Fi in WatchGuard Cloud from correctly identifying the client hostname in the monitoring pages and reports.
Workaround/Solution
Disable random MAC address privacy on the wireless client.
