NOTE: The feature was re-enabled at 6:00pm US PST on 23 February 2022. With the release of Fireware v12.1.3 Update 8, Fireware v12.5.9 Update 2, and Fireware v12.7.2 Update 2 on 23 February 2022, the ability to upgrade Fireware OS from Fireware Web UI is temporarily unavailable for all Fireboxes, regardless of the version of Fireware they run. AP firmware updates from Gateway Wireless Controller and on-demand CA updates are also not available.WatchGuard has taken the action to disable this update feature to give Firebox and XTM users the opportunity to learn about Cyclops Blink and make sure their Firebox is not infected by the Cyclops Blink botnet before it upgrades. If you try to use these features, you might see the error message Unable to contact the WatchGuard software update server in Fireware Web UI, or see the message failed to parse service response header in Traffic Monitor. To learn more about Cyclops Blink and determine if your Firebox or XTM appliance is affected, go to detection.watchguard.com.
No workaround exists at this time.
