If you experience this problem, contact WatchGuard Support for assistance.After a new AuthPoint Gateway installation, the Gateway status shows as "not installed" status in the AuthPoint management UI in WatchGuard Cloud. AuthPoint processes all authentication requests correctly.In C:\\ProgramData\WatchGuard\AuthPoint\logs, you might see AuthPoint logs similar to these: 2021-05-24 17:29:43 ERROR [https-jsse-nio-9000-exec-87] c.w.a.p.a.g.e.RestTemplateResponseErrorHandler - HTTP status code: 404. Request-Id:8f68b26f-2dad-4997-bca2-6622dfdebe8d2021-05-24 17:29:43 ERROR [https-jsse-nio-9000-exec-91] c.w.a.p.a.g.e.RestTemplateResponseErrorHandler - HTTP status code: 404. Request-Id:10154f59-bea8-4bcb-959c-81d2aa7afecd Because the Gateway is running, make sure that you do not fail over to a backup Gateway. If you do try to fail over to a backup Gateway, it will get stuck in "promoting" status and AuthPoint will not process authentication requests.
No workaround exists at this time.
