Description:

Issue

Wireless clients that use Intel AX201 or AX211 wireless cards occasionally disconnect from Wi-Fi in WatchGuard Cloud access points when using 802.11ax mode.

Workaround/Solution

There are several reasons why this issue might occur. We recommend you check the following: Update the Intel wireless drivers on the wireless client to the latest version. Make sure you have minimized co-channel interference in your environment if you have a dense deployment. For example, you might have access points located too close to each other, or set to channels that might conflict with each other. Make sure access points are configured to use non-overlapping channels. If this does not resolve the issue, switch the 5 GHz radio on the WatchGuard access point from 802.11ax to 802.11ac mode to see if this resolves the issue.
