Description:

Issue

After you upgrade WSM to v12.10, Active Directory authentication might fail when you log in to the Management Server. When this occurs, you could see application event log messages such as: Error (8203), Authentication failed; ((dn_get) 000004DC: LdapErr: DSID-0C090A69, comment: In order to perform this operation a successful bind must be completed on the connection., data 0, v4563) <wmserver_auth peer='X.X.X.X' /> (permission denied) Or: Error (8203), Authentication failed; ((ldap_sasl_bind) connection to LDAP server <domainname>:3269 failed (-1)) <wmserver_auth peer='X.X.X.X' /> (permission denied)

Workaround/Solution

Open the Services app in Windows.Select the WatchGuard Management Server service.Click Restart. This fixes the issue temporarily. When it occurs again, you must repeat the workaround steps.
