When you attempt to migrate the configuration file of a previous T-series Firebox wireless model to a Firebox T25/T45 wireless model, it shows an error that the configuration is invalid for the 2.4 GHz radio and cannot be saved to the Firebox. This occurs because the previous T-series Firebox wireless models only have a single radio, and the Firebox T25/T45 wireless models have two radios.
To workaround this issue, open the configuration file of the original Firebox in Policy Manager and change the Firebox model to an equivalent non-wireless Firebox to remove the wireless configuration. When you migrate the configuration file to the new Firebox T25/T45 wireless model, you can enable and reconfigure the wireless interfaces. To change the Firebox model in the configuration file from your original Firebox: From Policy Manager, select Setup > System.Select an equivalent Firebox model without wireless (non -W model). This removes the wireless configuration.Save the configuration to a file.In the configuration file, go back to Setup > System, then select your Firebox T25/T45 wireless model (-W model).Save the configuration to a file. You can now migrate the configuration file to the new Firebox T25/T45 wireless device, and enable and reconfigure the wireless interfaces.
