Issue
This Known Issue applies to WatchGuard Advanced EPDR, EPDR, EDR, and EDR Core.Endpoints with WatchGuard Endpoint Security protection versions 8.00.21.XXXX or 8.00.22.XXXX might encounter file transfer errors during SMB traffic exchanges on domain controller servers.For information on how to determine your protection version, go to Determine the Software Version in Help Center.
Workaround/Solution
A hotfix is available for this known issue.To apply a hotfix on the affected endpoint: Download and save the hotfix file to the endpoint: HF-WGUA1681-psanmodmv.exeDouble-click the downloaded file.If prompted, to fully apply the hotfix, restart the endpoint. Note: To install the unattended or silent version of the hotfix, click here.
