When it connects to a VPN that allows access to many different subnets, the Mobile VPN with SSL client fails to display the DNS domain and server information in the DNS status dialog box. Other fields, such as Gateway Connected and WINS, are also blank.
This is a display issue and does not impact the functionality of the Mobile VPN with SSL client. To verify which DNS settings the Mobile VPN with SSL client uses, run the command ipconfig /all from a Windows command prompt. The Mobile VPN with SSL DNS information will be associated with the TAP-Windows Adapter V9 interface.Alternatively, adjust the allowed networks available to the VPN. Combine subnets into super nets to reduce the number of VPN route statements pushed to the Mobile VPN with SSL client on connection. This issue does not affect Mobile VPN with SSL configurations with the option to Force all client traffic through tunnel enabled.
